The Story of Naqsha-e-Gul
In the ancient courtyards of Isfahan, there was a belief that every flower was a silent witness to the passage of time, its petals absorbing the echoes of the city. Nagsha-e-Gul (The Map of the Flower) represents the moment those memorie are etched into the very fabric of existence.
The design is built on two pillars of storytelling:
The Foundation (The Brickwork)
: The back of the garment features a weathered, brick-like texture. This represents the "Wall of History"-the enduring, rugged structures of the past. It suggests that beauty does not exist in a vacuum; it grows against the backdrop of resilience and time.
The Geometry (The Red Sigil)
: At the heart of the design lies a crimson geometric motif, reminiscent of traditional embroidery and architectural blueprints. This is the "Nagsha"— the blueprint or map. It symbolizes the hidden order within nature, suggesting that even the most delicate flower is built with a divine, mathematical precision.
Theme & Spirit
The contrast between the deep black fabric and the stark white and red graphics mirrors the duality of the Persian poetic tradition: the struggle between the "Stone" (the world) and the "Rose" (the spirit).
